This is where I’m supposed to tell you who I am. Well, like most people, it’s complicated.
Since I was a kid, I’ve felt a pull to be part of something bigger than myself. I grew up watching superheroes and hearing stories of sacrifice, faith, and purpose. With strong Christian parents, I learned early on what it looked like to serve, even when no one’s watching. That desire to make a difference has shaped everything I’ve done since.
I got into broadcasting in high school, hosting weekly shows and interviewing artists on our local FM station. During Desert Storm, I co-produced an award-winning Christmas radio special that aired via shortwave into 72 countries playing messages from families at home to deployed American soldiers. It was my first glimpse of how media could connect people across the world. I’ve been behind the mic ever since.
For more than 30 years, I’ve worked in radio. I’ve covered community food drives, emceed fundraisers, hosted political interviews, and produced a regionally syndicated NASCAR radio show while photographing races for my own show’s website. I’ve co-produced and co-written nationally distributed programming that received Silver Microphone and ADDY awards. I’ve prayed at the Kentucky Capitol, interviewed Grammy winners and WWII veterans, and photographed everyone from record-breaking stunt performers to church volunteers.
Through it all, my focus has stayed the same: telling the stories of real people doing meaningful work.
I believe God is doing a great work in the world, and I consider it a gift to play even a small part in it. Like when my dad let me “help” work on the truck as a kid, I know God doesn’t need me, but He lets me participate anyway. That truth grounds me, whether I’m producing a podcast, photographing a mission trip, or standing on the sidelines of a Friday night football game.

My dad letting me "help" work on the truck.

I’m always looking for opportunities to serve, support, and help others tell the stories that matter. If I can help you tell yours, let’s talk.
